Core Values influence vision and mission by identifying those bedrock convictions that characterize CEFC. These Core Values will provide lasting markers for our ministries.

We Believe that:

• Worship is personal and corporate celebration of God wherein we offer our lives to God in praise and submission to his will.

• Prayer is an essential component of the Christian life whereby we communicate with God both corporately and personally.

• The church is empowered by God and all we do should reflect our dependence upon him.

• The Bible is God’s Word and that biblical teaching has life-changing power in the lives of individuals and in the church.

• People were created to belong to a community where they can grow and receive care. Community is the glue that holds the church together and that loving relationships should permeate all of church life.

• The Christian life is a journey of spiritual growth that continues throughout a person’s lifetime.

• Evangelism is the privilege of inviting others to Christ and that our priorities should reflect God’s love for the lost.

• Every Christian is a minister of Christ with spiritual gifts for service.
